New locations: Belarus & Kazakhstan π°πΏ
7/26/2022
We are happy to announce that you can connect to the Belarus and Kazakhstan locations!
The locations is already available in our apps, or you can download its profile if you set up the connection manually.
Locations is implemented using Double VPN technology.
This means that you connect to servers in one of the countries with laws protecting the privacy of users, then through an encrypted tunnel the traffic is directed to a server in the country of the location, which goes to the Internet.
This allows us to protect your IP address from tracking if traffic is intercepted directly from the server in the country of location.
We select the most reliable and secure data centers for our servers to provide the best service for you.

Fight with blocking in Russia
9/15/2021
Russian authorities have started blocking Red Shield VPN.
Blocking is carried out unofficially, on the so-called TSPU - that is, DPI under the control of the state.
We love our users from Russia and believe that the Internet in Russia should be free from government censorship.
Therefore, we begin to fight for access to Russia, which consists of two parts:
1. Technical.
2. Legal. Due to the fact that the blocking is carried out unofficially, first we need to prove it, then sue the Russian state.
We remind you that as a result of the previous blocking attempt in Russia, the service remained available, and the ECHR is considering a case against the Russian state.
